Brown Sugar Iced Latte
YieldOne 350 ml glass
Prep / total5 minutes
Equipment: Espresso machine, small cup, spoon, and a glass.
What you’ll need
- 36–40 g freshly brewed espresso (a double shot)
- 150 ml milk of your choice
- 15 ml brown sugar syrup, plus more to taste
- 100 g ice
Make it yours
- Stir the brown sugar syrup into the warm espresso.
- Fill your glass with ice and pour in the milk.
- Slowly pour the sweetened espresso over the milk.
- Give it a gentle stir, taste, and adjust the sweetness.
A little extra help
For a quick syrup, dissolve equal weights brown sugar and hot water. Let it cool before using. Make a small amount for immediate use.
Make a swap. Oat milk works well here. Without an espresso machine, try 45 ml of strong moka-pot coffee; the flavor and strength will differ.
Best enjoyed fresh. Make one cup at a time and serve right away.
