Iced Vanilla Americano

YieldOne 350 ml glass
Prep / total5 minutes

Equipment: Espresso maker, glass, measuring cup or jigger, and spoon.

What you’ll need

  • 2 shots fresh espresso (60 ml)
  • 120 ml cold filtered water
  • 15 ml vanilla syrup
  • 100 g ice
  • 30 ml oat milk

Make it yours

  1. Fill your glass with ice, then add the cold water.
  2. Stir the vanilla syrup into the freshly pulled espresso.
  3. Pour the vanilla espresso over the ice and water.
  4. Finish with a splash of oat milk and stir lightly to keep a little swirl.

A little extra help

Keep the coffee bold. Add the water before the espresso so the drink cools quickly without losing its character.

Adjust the sweetness. Start with 10 ml vanilla syrup if you prefer a less-sweet cup.

Choose a creamy oat milk. A barista-style oat milk gives you a smooth finish without turning the drink into a latte.
